100 days of winter

millions of people suffer from depression, and the winter months can be especially hard to bear when you're already feeling gray... I know it I've been through it and winter still gets me sometimes, if you feel this way you are not alone... trust me... it's important to take time every day to recognize those things that make you happy.... on my twitter @itbesummmer I've started a #100daysofsummer which means that for the next 100 days I am going to post each day some things that made me happy

You can't fight fire with fire. Usually, if someone's being a bitch, it's because they've got some problems of their own. Never let anyone get to you. Whatever they're teasing you about is one of their insecurities. Say you're being bullied because of your weight, the person who is bullying you (i can almost guarentee) is very insecure about their weight. Just ignore them, but never be mean back because karma is a bitch.

To anyone who is upset / considering taking their life

I don’t know you. I don’t know your name, your age, your race, sexuality, etc. I know absolutely nothing about you. But stop whatever you’re doing if you are having suicidal thoughts and just read this. Life can be really shitty sometimes. We go through problems and obstacles that life throws at us. Sometimes these problems are extremely big and you don’t feel like you can handle them. So you decide to take it out on yourself. For example, cutting, anorexia, bulimia, all of these severe problems. And I know that it doesn’t always seem like things will get better, but they do. Life is a fucked up thing to be in, but why leave it? Once you’re dead that’s it. No turning back. Once you’re lifeless you can’t decide to get another life. THIS ISN’T FUCKING PAC-MAN. There are no do overs, so why screw it up now?

I believe in you. I don’t know you, but I know you can pull through whatever it is. Maybe you’re insecure about your weight, or maybe your sexuality. Fuck all of those problems. You are perfect the way you are. Embrace every single flaw and insecurity and LOVE IT. Tell society fuck you, I’m fine the way I am. Or if there is some drama starter in your life, kick them the fuck out. Get all negativity out of your life because you deserve to be happy. No matter what mistakes you’ve made, no matter how many people you’ve hurt. You deserve to be happy. You deserve to live and have a smile on your face every single fucking day. Shit gets better.

You have to be willing to pull through and find out in the grand scheme of things. Maybe your boyfriend / girlfriend cheated on you. FUCK THEM. There are 6 billion people in this world and counting. There is someone out there for you. Not one person on this earth is worth taking your life over. You are human. You will make mistakes, and you will fuck up. But nothing is worth taking your life over. Life is a beautiful thing, but you just have to find the beauty in it all. No matter who you are, you’re not alone. You have someone. Whether it be a band, Tumblr, or some random old lady on the street. There will always be someone there for you.

I promise you that you can pull through this. I believe in you.
